1.Overview

DreamDrop (“DreamDrop,” “we,” “us”) is a daily identity-preserving art service. You add a few reference photos, choose the styles you like, and we generate two new works of art of you each day, collected into a private memory album.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website and app at dreamdropai.com (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details. Your email address, and an optional display name. If you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information from Google (such as your email and name).
  • Reference photos. The photos you upload (up to five) so we can create transformations that look like you.
  • Preferences. The themes and styles you like, any custom requests you write in your own words, and your preferred daily delivery time.
  • Payment information. When you subscribe, our payment processors collect your payment details. We do not store full card numbers ourselves — see Service providers below.

Information we create or collect automatically

  • Generated art. The images we produce for you, along with the date, style label and title of each drop.
  • Usage and device data. Basic technical information such as log data, approximate region, browser and device type, and how you interact with the Service, used to operate and improve it.
  • Authentication cookies. Session cookies that keep you signed in. See Cookies below.

3.Your photos and your face

The short version

Your reference photos are yours. We use them only to generate your art, we keep them in private storage, we do not sell them, and we do not use them to train public or third-party AI models. You can delete them at any time.

Because the photos you upload contain your face, we treat them with extra care. Here is exactly how they are handled:

  • Your reference photos are stored in a private storage bucket that is not publicly accessible and is scoped to your account.
  • To create each transformation, your reference photos are sent to our AI image provider solelyto generate your images. They are not used to train that provider’s models.
  • The generated images are stored privately and shown only in your album, to you.
  • We never sell your photos or generated images, and we do not use them for advertising or share them publicly without your explicit permission.

4.How we use your information

We use the information described above to:

  • Create your daily transformations and build your album.
  • Deliver your drops at your chosen time and operate core features.
  • Create and secure your account and authenticate you.
  • Process subscriptions, payments, renewals and cancellations.
  • Provide support, respond to your requests, and send essential service messages.
  • Maintain safety and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms.
  • Understand and improve the Service, in aggregate where possible.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your reference photos or generated art to train public AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

5.How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run DreamDrop, and only as needed to provide the Service:

  • Hosting, database and storage. Our infrastructure and authentication providers host the Service, store your account data, and keep your photos and generated images in private storage.
  • AI image generation. Our AI provider processes your reference photos and our style instructions to generate your images, solely to provide that result to you.
  • Payments. Razorpay and Stripe process subscription payments. They collect and handle your payment details under their own privacy policies; we receive only limited information such as subscription status and the last digits of a card.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, safety and security of our users or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets (in which case we will continue to protect your information under this policy).

6.Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies, primarily to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser settings, but doing so will sign you out.

7.Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete individual reference photos at any time. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your reference photos, generated images and account data within a reasonable period, except where we must keep certain records (for example, billing and tax records) to comply with the law.

8.Security

We protect your data with measures appropriate to its sensitivity: private, access-controlled storage buckets, row-level security on your account data, and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to limit access to it.

9.Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Access and review the information in your account.
  • Correct your name and update your preferences.
  • Delete reference photos individually, or delete your account.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — such as the right to access, port, correct or delete your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email privacy@dreamdropai.com and we will respond as required by applicable law.

10.Children’s privacy

DreamDrop is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.International users and data transfers

We operate the Service from, and store data in, the United States. If you access DreamDrop from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your own.

12.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
